Christmas Lips

Something for the Christmas Season. I had to go through a few iterations to get it right, but I'm happy with the result.

Faces of Pixie

Pixie is arguably the most "animated" of the bunch at the B-Squad, so I tend to style her after the old vintage Rubber Hose Cartoons. More "squash-and-stretch" far more expressive and more prone to literal cartoon antics. I plan on having similar rules of style with the rest of the girls.

Crows

I remember hearing the Story of the Crow as a kid. About how it was the crow who stole fire from the sky to give us Sun or something, but the heat charred all its feathers black. Not a bad idea for the watercolor book.

Chili Lips

I like funky lips, okay? And peppers. Plug practicing with gouache is always fun.

Bats

An attempt at trying new things in a watercolor sketchbook. Really enjoying the feel of the paper

Painting: Red Lips

Painting different kinds of mouths is a fun exercise I like to do.

I don't recall if I ever posted this here, but occasionally, I'll paint and this was one of my more free-form efforts. I was just messing around with gouache and watercolors and was pretty satisfied with the result.

Morgan Expressions

My Vampire Character: Morgan, being her usual congenial self.
